Distilled with a passion for the Piña, Augusto will bring Tequila, Mezcal, Sotol, Raicilla & Bacanora to those who crave authentic experiences. Relax with great friends, in magnificent venues with elixirs designed, distilled and packaged to exacting requirements by fellow agave addicts. Created in partnership with carefully chosen distilleries to an exacting profile that convert piñas to platas that harmonise when aged in our signature sherry casks, Augusto is the world’s first exclusively Spanish sherry cask aged Tequila.
Augusto was born at La Cofradia in Tequila, birthplace of countless world class Tequila brands under the stewardship of maestro tequilero Carlos Hernández. Together with his team and using traditional techniques to experiment, innovate and refine profiles, the Augusto team spent almost 2 years to perfect its first signature Reposado.
Continuing to perfect and pioneer Sherry cask ageing, Augusto partnered with Tequila Tres Mujeres, Toneleria Juan Pino and González Byass to produce its next evolution of Augusto under the watchful eye of maestro tequilero Nestor Hernández.
With the best cooperage and sherry producer in Spain, Augusto’s deepened connection to its influential Sherry builds a platform for new age statements and cask finishes.
To share the experience further Augusto has now setup its Casa at Tres Mujeres in Amatitán, Jalisco, where fans and friends will soon be able to enjoy the Augusto experience first hand.
